ART-STREETCAR NAMED*K U N S T I N B L I K
In het werk van Irene speelt recycling: de geboorte en de wedergeboorte van materialen, een belangrijke rol.
Internationaal bekend werd - en gefilmd door VPRO voor "Eeuw van de Stad" ism Volkskrant en Architectuurbiennale in 2005 - haar ZONNEBLIK:
een left-over planttrike uit de USA omgebouwd tot Mobiele Zonnecentrale in een tijd dat zonnestroom vooral belachelijk en onhaalbaar werd gevonden...
Ook blies Irene in Amsterdam het fiets/personen/transport nieuw leven in via een getransformeerde Indonesische becak, een riksja uit India en een Pedicab uit New York.
Voor haar Citroen Acadiane Fourgonette 1981, ontwierp ze een voorname kanten avondjapon met lange sleep in rood/zwart: de kleuren van de stad Amsterdam.
Het langstlopende project = KUNSTINBLIK sinds milleniumjaar 2000, steeds een mobiele artgallery in een getransformeerde bus, die op de openbare weg rondom het Oostelijk Havenbied Amsterdam te bezoeken is.
Via een Citroen HY v/h service de secours ville de Die", een VW "No Texting No Sirens" is nu een Peugeot VAN verbouwd tot visuele! tank met over de volle breedte van de neus een afbeelding gemaakt door artistduo Orticanoodles uit Carrara , Italie.

John Cage at the Royal Conservatory the Hague in 1989, she started
"Stembaan VoiceChoice Performing Productions".
Irene works now in 2015 on a long-term production, shown in 2016 called "Pres des Remparts d'Amsterdam, a performing art show on sounds & images around the borders of Amsterdam and ...beyond.
